Cross Brand Marketing

Marketing

Companies have long known that consumers buy more than one product on a regular basis. Many have teamed up with companies that have complementary products. A store that sells vintage furniture may come to an agreement with a store that sells vintage clothing. Each one will carry discount coupons for the other business and pass them out to their customers. This gives each business a chance to acquire new customers at a lower cost from a non-competing business. It cuts the cost of advertising by targeting consumers who are more likely to belong to a company's specific customer demographic. Cross brand marketing has often been successful for small businesses that are new to a local market
